I'm going back to stock and have everything but an axleback! WTF right? anywho, if you have one sitting around etc, offer it up. This is for an 03 wrx btw so anything 02-07 plz

shirter kart racing

so in a nutshell, my wrx is having issues and I am totally out of ideas and I don't want to drop a bunch of money into the car to get it into racing shape again (see: unemployed college student). The car runs fine just knocks a bunch under harsh conditions
I was thinking of getting a miata before but I don't want to sell my car and my parents aren't down with me getting a dd and track car, especially since I'd have to buy something big + a trailer to tow.
My plan was to go back to stock and sell the parts, getting a good $1500 back, making my car more reliable and comfortable for daily driving and using that money to get a used shifter kart and run in the kart class in my division of auto-x.
any thoughts, opinions, anything I don't of, etc.?

bunch of knock plus a new code!

So my car has been knocking which jeremy (testes) has been trying to figure out, and on my way back from the hospital I got a CEL.
the cel is P1443 which I think I've had before, which I thought was gas cap, but that doesn't make too much sense.
I got gas 110 miles ago, and well over a week ago.
Any ideas as to maybe the code and knock being related?
