Last night I was driving with a friend on a backroad doing 80ish. I saw a bird up ahead on the road and was getting kinda worried about hitting the thing as I got closer and it didn't leave the roadkill it was nibbling on. I started honking my horn, to no avail...I smacked the bird and THOUGHT that most of it hit my windshield (leaving a bloody mess none-the-less!)

This morning I open up my hood to install my new Stock OEM 3 Gauge Pod in my dash and find this:

The best part about this whole thing is that earlier in the same day, I ordered one of Jedimaster's hood scoop screens...Man Jedi, faster shipping might have saved this from happening!

But then we wouldn't have these pictures to laugh at!!

Hood Scoop Screen Suggestion:
I'm going to suggest that only the hood scoop screens would be able to prevent this... I vote strongly against getting a screen that just sits on top of your intercooler! When mine comes in, I'll make a DIY for it and "bird proof" my car.

JEDI: Why don't you call your screens "Bird Proof WRX" or something even cooler sounding? You can even use my pictures to help you sell some!
(Maybe I could get a hookup because of them?) Think about it.

It looks like a mourning dove, to me.

Moving to OT.
