Combofix. Anyone ever use it?

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix

I just wanted to share. It's the first program I use whenever I encounter an infected computer. This program has saved so many computers for me! I constantly have people bringing infected machines to me to work on and every time I get one, I run this program first.

There are warnings on the combofix download page about how it is powerful enough to damage a machine, so I do want to make a note of it. However, if you ever run into a severely infected machine, boot into safe mode and run Combofix. I've never had it fail me, though there have been a few times that I've had to rename it to bob.exe or something so I can run it.

Fantastic frigging program!

Anything you have to add, go for it. I wanna join a gym because I'm getting a lot of pent up stress lately and just relaxing at home isn't taking care of all of it so I figure I'll burn it off at the gym. I found a small place with new equipment that's local and open 24/hrs a day. And pricing is right on with everyone else. I'll probably start out just doing little stuff like mostly cardio and see where that leads me. Right now, I need someway to burn off anxiety from work and BS from in life so I figure why not work out and do it all at once. What about everyone else? What's your motivation? What works good for you? What foods are you eating? Supplements? What gains have you seen?

The unofficial end of summer

How did the last months find everyone this year? I think this was one of the best I've ever had. Starting making good $$$ at work now that I'm on commission, hung out with friends plenty often, met some cool ass new people including a few girls, saw some good drag racing and have 2 more planned a little over a month away, did some cheap and easy mods to my car with my own 2 hands, and even got out and did more than I ever planned to. All in all, my 2010 was a very welcome change for summer.

Fantasy Football

For those of you that play fantasy football and care at all this post might be relatively entertaining or at least worth reading....for any of you who don't care about it or think it's stupid you should probably not have clicked this thread.  Any how, I just had my draft for the only league I'm playing in, should be entertaining as usual.  Although my receiving corps is a little slim I think I'll do alright.  I was lucky/unlucky enough to have the top pick and picked up Chris Johnson.  I figured he'd be a good choice like a lot of people probably did this year.  The only problem with the first pick in a 10 team league is it means I didn't pick again till picks 20 and 21.  Anyhow the only major screw up I made was drafting Vincent Jackson of the Chargers, who is not only under suspension for 3 games but for some unknown reason will not be playing the following 3 either.  Anyhow I was lucky enough to not draft him that high so I still did alright.  The odd thing about this league is that it's a 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1K, and 1Defense league.  My team at least for the time being is as follows;

Starters:
QB: Tony Romo-DAL (as a Niner fan this one killed me but I needed a QB and he was the best available at the time.)
RB1: Chris Johnson-TEN (probably won't see another 2500 all purpose yard season again but I figured he was worth the pick.)
RB2: Joseph Addai-IND (Been solid for awhile, will be a solid second RB)
WR1: Michael Crabtree-SF (bit of a diva but is posed for a serious breakout season)
WR2: Dez Bryant-DAL (another damn Cowgirl....but he's got a crazy upside if he gets rolling)
WR3: Pierre Garcon-IND (couldn't get Reggie Wayne here and forgot about Vincent Jackson's contract/suspension issues)
TE: Vernon Davis-SF (1000 yard season is coming, just you watch)
K: Dan Carpenter-MIAMI (Kicker from the University of Montana, the school I went to)
DEF Chicago Bears (don't know much about them but the jerk picking a couple before me took my Niners, and it was my second to last pick)

Reserves:
QB: Matt Ryan-ATL
RB: CJ Spiller-BUF (shot in the dark but if it works out...) and Reggie Bush-NO
WR: Devin Aromashadu(CHI), Vincent Jackson-SD (for now), and Robert Meacham-NO

I'm a little leery that I am starting two Cowgirls, two Niners, and two Colts, chance of a loss greatly increases if one of the teams butt-flops and gets shut down. Any body else playing fantasy football this year? I'd be curious to see other people's teams and hear thoughts on improving mine.
OJ

Was looking at possibly buying a new bike today to replace my VROD that had no real issues but a pair of extremely bald tires, but ran into problems. No new bike because of the following experience. I got approved for the loan this morning, called the bank back after wheeling and dealing only to find that the person I had been dealing with went home 2 hours early. Not only did she take off, but neither her nor the bank ever said anything about having to put 15% down. Yes 15% down to the bank...I have heard about money down to a dealer but never to a bank.

Then the stealership would only give me 3500 for my bike because "it would cost at least a thousand dollars to get it up and running and road worthy again before we could sell it." No further explanation was given. He also told me that KBB doesn't give a good and accurate price for trade-in prices that people can expect from the dealer. Apparently there is another guide for trade-ins that i had never heard of and don't remember the name of now. The salesman basically was telling me that my bike sucks and is a POS, and that I was a moron for using KBB to get an expected trade-in value, or at least that's the way I read it. To be honest, i did put $700 into it later that day, but even if his $1k number was accurate, KBB put the value at $6260 in good condition. By my account, my request for a bare minimum of $5k (which there was no way they could do according to the salesman) doesn't seem unreasonable. He also kept pointing me towards several Heritage Softail Classics, which I had told him several times I had zero interest in. The cherry on the top was when he called me "young man," which I took as "little boy." Maybe it was the sh!tty mood I was in, or the fact that everywhere we walked, he would walk ahead of me, talking while not even looking back to see if I was there, but I took the "young man" comment as him being s condescending prick yet again. Oh, just remembered another thing he did that pissed me off. When I had decided that I wanted a Fat Boy Lo, and he asked me which color black I wanted I told him "Gloss Black" to which he replied in a sh!tty tone "Vivid Black," then turned and walked away.

The sales guy and finance guy were obviously not trying to get the best deal (for me) because their first deal was 84 months at $444 per month, when I basically walked out and said screw it, I will just get the service done that I had planned to get in the first place, he came over and said "if we can do $350 per month would you be interested?". Maybe my math is off but to me 444 times 84 months is around 37k. So there is no way that the $350 time period could have been 84 months. 84 months was long, how much longer could he be trying to get me on the hook for?

Frustrating day that i thought would be fun. Thankfully I did run into some employees that understood customer service and wanted to help out. The service department employees and one cute little redheaded girl who was a cashier all stayed an hour past their quitting time in order to get the service done that my bike desperately needed. The mechanic and service department guy that I dealt with were especially competent and helpful.

The service department employee went out of his way to help me learn about things I didn't know about my own bike, and didn't treat me like I was a stupid POS for not knowing every little thing about my first bike. Even a question that most bike/car guys should know "how do I check the oil on this bike I have had for almost a year?" was not met with a look down his nose like I was a moron. The guy honestly didn't know and helped me until we figured it out.

The mechanic also did great work, did everything he was supposed to do, plus took the bike out for a test ride in order to make sure the tires were in alignment I guess. While on that ride he determined that I had no rear brakes, checked the fluid, found it to be empty, and let me know what was going on. He didn't ask me in some holier than thou condescending tone how I didn't know it was empty, or how I didn't know I didn't have rear brakes. He just told me what was wrong and how to fix it. He very easily could have sold me or attempted to sell me a whole new rear brake assembly.

The little redhead was cute, just flirty enough, and just overall was just plesant to be around.

Oh I almost forgot, I also determined the stock seat for my bike is a descendant of some sort of medieval torture device. While it wasn't as bad as a dirt bike seat that I rode on a few years ago, I felt like I was sitting on a 2x4 by the end of the only 240ish miles I rode on it today. Immediately after getting home I reinstalled the much more comfortable "Sundowner Deep Bucket" seat that has been on it since I bought it 8-10 months ago.

Long day overall, and since I don't have pics of a new ride to show off I figured I would vent a little and share this pic that I took of my VROD the other night at 2am at the gas pump. It's amazing how therapeutic it was to just write this experience down.
OJ

Guns, Guns, Guns

Today i went to Scheels to see what they had....found a 12 gauge stoeger p350 with a pistol grip stock for 280. I liked it...a lot, plus it was cheaper than the Mossberg and Remington, and i read good reviews on it. So I ended up having to go on base to get a copy of my orders since i don't have an ND drivers license and i came back a few hours later. The salesman called in my info he came back to tell me my background check was delayed, most likely because i have common last name. I understand...there's been times when i've been mixed up with my dad (same first name) even after I've given my social. So i'll go back by there on monday and try again, and if it works out, come back for handgun later

Here's what i was gonna get

stoeger p350

What do you guys think of hi-point guns? I saw a lot of reviews of how they used to be sh*tty, but started making decent handguns for the price. One of the complaints i saw a few times was it wasn't pretty, or didn't look good. I'm not buying one because of what it looks like, i just want it to work when i need to. Seems like the people who owned them said they were worth what they paid and everything they expected...a cheap, reliable gun, that fires every time. I'm not looking to spend a ton of money since this will be my first handgun and shotgun, but i'm leaning towards these. Thoughts?
